Haisan provides comprehensive services for third party temperature controlled logistics in Malaysia, China, and Philippines, through its wholly owned subsidiaries, IGLO (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd and IGLO (Guangzhou) Co. Ltd, and associated company, IGLO Philippines, Inc. respectively. IGLO’s concept is to provide a ‘one stop’ total logistics solutions with “continuous cold chain”. The services include down stream services like blast freezing (IQF), thawing and tempering cycles, (re)packaging, private labeling, as well as domestic and regional reefer distribution.
IGLO’s operations in Malaysia, China, and Philippines boast on having a total storage capacity of 21,270 pallet spaces. Each facility contains compartmentalized cold rooms with own computerised ambience management systems that can allow for varied environmental settings. In addition, end-to-end computer control and feedback systems are set in place to constantly monitor temperature and compressor systems to ensure the smooth operation of the facilities. With a wide range of temperature settings, from +20°C to -30°C, IGLO can store and handle diverse food products with different storage and processing requirements. As all our facilities are equipped with selective and mobile racking systems, our services can accommodate customers’ inventory management (FIFO/LIFO order picking, stacking pattern, veterinary status, etc). At IGLO’s outbound docks are spacious refrigerated loading bays that are equipped with fully automatic boards, inflatable dock seals, and side insulation. Reefer containers can simultaneously dock in for product flow in a “continuous cold chain”. IGLO’s operations also comply with HALAL, HACCP, ISO, and GMP standards.
