Haisan Ice has taken
the leap in branding
its ice by naming it
as "KOOL ICE" for its
packaged tube ice
and "CLASSIC ICE" for
its moulded
ice sculptures.

Haisan Ice, the flag ship of the Group’s Ice Manufacturing division, is one of Malaysia’s major ice manufacturers, especially in the block ice category. Being the pioneer in the industry, Haisan Ice is also one of the first ice manufacturers in Malaysia to have obtained the Halal, HACCP and ISO 9001:2008 certifications for its wide and varied range of ice products including tube ice, and moulded ice sculpture

One of the oldest names around, Haisan Ice products are well-accepted and have been in the market for more than 35 years. All the ice products are made from the purest water supply utilising state-of-the-art in-house developed water filtration system. Its five ice plants located in Port Klang, Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Pontian and Johor Bahru, have a combined daily production capacity of over 750 tonnes. Through various channels of distribution including mass merchandisers, Haisan Ice popular brand as “Kool Ice” for its packaged edible tube ice is sold in hypermarkets, convenience stores, etc and its ice products are used by a wide range of users including commercial users, special entertainment outlets, events organisers, restaurants as well as the fishery and agricultural sector


Tube Ice

Package size of 2.5kg, 10kg and 18kg

Processed via freezing of water on the inner surface of vertical tubes with a hollow centre

Customer base: restaurants, coffee shops, pubs, convenience stores, petrol kiosks, supermarkets, hawker stalls etc

 

Block Ice

-

Processed via freezing water from a full liquid state instead of compacting crushed ice

Production at 110 kg per block

Three (3) types of block ice: 
1)  Normal Block Ice: used by fisheries
      industry and wholesale markets
2)  Clear Block Ice: used by hotels and
      restaurants for ice carving purposes
3)  Crystal Clear Block Ice: used for ice
      carving during events or festivities

 

Molded Ice Sculpture

Branded as "CLASSIC ICE"

 Processed via customised designs of moulds, using crystal clear water and

enhanced with colourful lightings

Services include design, production, delivery and installation of ice sculptures
