The SAB series of screw compressors incorporates benefits based on more than 35 years of experience in designing, manufacturing and operating screw compressors. There are a number of properties contributing to high efficiency, environmental qualities, high reliability and easy maintenance. The series consists of five different sizes, each individually optimized in terms of rotor dimensions, thereby ensuring the best efficiency possible.

  Ammonia, hydrocarbons, HCFCs and HFCs are available as refrigerants. Five versions of the SAB 80 are available, covering the capacity range 961-3801 m³/h at 50 Hz (1154-4561 m³/h at 60Hz). In each version the length to diameter ratio of the compressor rotor has been individually optimised to ensure the best possible operating economics. The SAB 80 series has a number of unique features that contribute to safe operation, reduced environmental impact and high reliability, including:
  • movable economiser port and self-adjusting volume ratio, which increase operating efficiency, even at part load
  • integrated oil channels and suction filter
  • vertically oriented rotors, allowing side connections to the compressor. This results in low mounting height as well as reduced vibration and sound emissions
  • anti-friction bearings
  • integrated oil pump
  • 5/7 SRM rotor profiles
  • integrated discharge muffles
