The Grasso Duo Pack range of screw compressor packages comprises 12 models, each equipped with 2 identical screw compressors with a theoretical swept volume range from 462 to 2800 m³/h and operating on ammonia. Duo Packs are highly compact screw compressor packages built on one frame and with one common oil circuit. Each Grasso DuoPack consists of one vertical oil separator, one common oil cooler (either water cooled or refrigerant cooled) and with one common electronic compressor control system. DuoPacks are the logical alternative when faced with the choice between either one or two separate screw compressor packages of the same capacity. Compared with single packages, DuoPacks have better flexibility and better part-load efficiencies. In comparison with two single-stage packages, DuoPacks are easier to install, require less space and reduce investment costs.
